Tammy Ziegelaar – Teachers Scholarship Report
The Teachers Scholarship is awarded to up and coming teachers of the Borovansky Syllabus. Our thanks goes to Ms Lisa Pavane, Principle of the Australian Ballet School for the ongoing support of this programme.
The Teachers Scholarship for 2016 was awarded to Tammy Ziegelaar from Western Australia. Tammy attended the Australian Ballet School to observe classes during February 2017 and has provided the attached report.

The Victorian Committee of the AICD in conjunction with the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and the New Zealand School of Dance will be holding the New Zealand Scholarship Award at the Victorian College of the Arts on the 23rd of July 2017.

Gabriel Jahnke – Houston Scholarship Winner 2016 Report
Gabriel Jahnke has provided us with a report on his last 12 months in Houston where he completed the Summer Intensive Program and was given a further Scholarship. Borovansky Syllabus Teachers Seminar 2017
On Sunday, February 5, the AICD Victorian Committee held a Borovansky teacher Seminar, focusing on Grades 5 & 6. It was opened by the AICD’s Artistic Director; Marilyn Jones OBE and the facilitator for the day was AICD Borovansky Syllabus Examiner; Lynette Mirams. The Seminar attracted teachers from the Melbourne area and regional Victoria, as well as NSW and Queensland, and included some new teachers to the syllabus.
